Are cats ever really naughty? Well, it’s hard not to love them even when they misbehave. With images of cats being “naughty” or “nice,” the Naughty or Nice Scarf is a fun double knit scarf purrfect for showing off all the lovable actions of our furry friends.
Double knit, the scarf is fully reversible, featuring opposite color schemes on each side. The design is similar in layout to my Cat Season Scarf, but with “naughty” scenes at one end of the scarf and “nice” scenes at the other end. It’s designed for two colors, but feel free to use yarn scraps and change colors for every section! Solid colors or yarns with subtle or gradual color changes work best.
Instructions are included for the double knitting technique. The finished size of the scarf is approximately 70 inches (178 cm) in length and 5.5 inches (14 cm) in width.
Materials
- Size 2 US (2.75 mm) needles.
- Size 1 US (2.25 mm) needles (optional for a neater cast on edge).
- Approximately 460 yards (420 m) each of two contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn.
- Needle to weave in ends.
